Love the rbk50. I've bought 2 sets now in the last month and have had no trouble with dropped connections. 1 for me and 1 for the parents old farm house where other routers wouldn't hardly reach through the old walls. I think this set is pretty close to the rbk50 just a little slower but I'm sure plenty fast for the avg user. with newer firmware now you can daisy chain satellites also.

If you need a wifi get this all your woes will go away. I spent 350 on mine a year ago and couldn't be happier with it.

I was just looking at it, and it's not the RBK40 at Costco...it's the RBK22. Same strength as the RBK40 (AC2200) but the router and satellite only have 2 ethernet ports (instead of 4 on the RBK40 variants) and no USB port (the RBK40 units have USB ports as well).

Not the end of the world, but depending on your situation and how many clients you'd prefer to wire directly instead of use wifi, it's limited. Also, that means the router unit essentially only has one ethernet port as the other is designated to plug into the gateway/modem from your ISP.
