Just to be aware there were sellers on eBay last time around that had this for $150 and then the 15% or 20% that pops up can be used. I grabbed one for about $125 last time around. Great laptop, very happy. Not sure about this being a great deal though.

Yeah, but it's amazing how well it works on a Chromebook. I had a similar specced windows laptop before, you couldn't even use gmail without it lagging horribly. Chromeos however no problem, you can use email and 20 more tabs and it works fine.

It works pretty well. It's a quad core and I have not had any problems with it browsing with a dozen or more tabs open.

I had it for more than a year and it performs admirably well. Screen is very decent though not as bright as Toshiba Chromebook that is not made anymore. Cannot say if will be updated and processor be able to run Linux she'll and Android studio and other IDE that is supposed to be released at the end of the year

Benchmarks show this less than 1/3rd the speed of a 2nd gen i5. It's pathetic what they put in chromebooks. Probably costs them 25 dollars a piece in bulk.

This is a good deal, and the build quality/aesthetic is simply incredible for this price. It's very serviceable, but it's not even as fast as a Dell Chromebook 11 from 2014, keep in mind.
