Avg sucks. Too many background processes.
I've used eset nod32 for 7 years and it has never failed me or slowed me down

Decent software but I also prefer eset nod32, much better and less of a resource hog

I've never known AVG Ultimate having an extra 10.00 update rebate. I contacted the rebate company and they have no information on it either. They couldn't even give me a offer number of that one.

Chat had me online for about 45 minutes trying to find any info on it.

Software may end up being 10.00 AR.

Did chat with Frys and they said they were aware of there not being a 10.00 rebate onsite, but they will honor it. Rep suggested to call in so they can make a note on your order.

I used eset for about 3 years myself and loved it... But then I remember reading this big thing about it leaking information and mining personal data... Something like that...

If it's not true I wouldn't mind going back to it...

AVG is showing 14.99 after rebate. So, 4.99 after the extra 10 mail in rebate?

nvm, forget to apply the code

In my experience, Eset NOD32 and Bitdefender are the best. I've never particularly enjoyed Avast, AVG, and/or Norton. McAfee is just straight malware.

Is Eset NOD32 or Bitdefender offer a lifetime activation? I am thinking of doing that once for all...
