Sorry if this is wrong forum, couldn't find a good forum for my question here.
Need your help in dealing with Newegg order placed with MyDigitalSSD (this is called marketplace as far as I understand).
Order was placed & cancelled during the same weekend: placed on Saturday late evening & cancelled via Newegg chat on Sunday morning BEFORE order was shipped.
Newegg agents sent message to MyDigitalSSD asking to cancel order, said everything will be fine, and I just need to wait 1-2 business days for order to cancelled by MyDigitalSSD.
Also received a followup from newegg (I told newegg agent on Sunday that I expect issues with MyDigitalSSD - read some reviews about MyDigitalSSD on Amazon).
On Monday I was still charged & MyDigitalSSD shipped the order, than finally read message from newegg and issued RMA.
But both newegg & MyDigitalSSD refused to issue a return label.
MyDigitalSSD says I should ship it 1st class mail & pay for it myself.
Even though MyDigitalSSD promises to add a couple $ to my refund (to cover 1st class shipping), I don't like that b/c 1st class mail is often lost (order is ~100$) or damaged and there's no even a tracking #, then I will not be able to do anything.
I am pretty mad that I even have to deal with RMA, b/c I cancelled order BEFORE it was shipped.
Anyway, I believe newegg or MyDigitalSSD must issue return label, am I right here?
I submitted dispute with Paypal about a week ago (luckily I paid via paypal), no resolution yet.
RMA issued expires in the end of May, therefore I cannot just wait till Paypal dispute result.
Or can I just wait even though RMA can expire?
BTW, it seems that newegg takes NO responsibility for orders made via marketplace!
I have copies of several chat transcripts with newegg, which I attached to paypal dispute.
Is there anything I do to improve my chances?
Who is right in this case?
