Have u seen this msi? Is thin and light. Probably the one if not the thinnes gaming laptop around. One of the reason u are paying more. Evga is a monster (big).

Yes. That extra .2 inches is monstrous.

Don't get me wrong this laptop is a sweet sleek machine, but it's expensive, and still has overeating issues as noted by reviewers.

if you just play game, no need to move the laptop around, of course the evga. this one is targeting people wanting all-in-one laptop: business, school, gaming, video editing, etc. if you can only have one laptop, i bet you would not carry 6.5lb with you.

I got the BestBuy deal MSI GS65 STEALTH THIN-037 which does cost like $400 more but it has much better specs. Get it thru eBay BB for the Google mini smart speaker deal.

I'm glad they finally went bezelless. It took them longer than their competitors.

Edit: If you want to upgrade RAM or SSD, you have to remove the whole motherboard.

Yes it slower but it is something one and upgrade but not very easily as from youtube review complaints about. There is two slot too thou. This current model you get half the SSD storage which is way to small if you play games. Like Fallout 4 can take over 50GB just one game. Windows 10 and easily be over 25GB. And Ram cache will take 16GB. It adds up very quickly.

Im thinking of getting this. Any reason I shouldn't? I know its a 1060 with only 256 GB SSD. But Im thinking of upgrading the SSD later down the year. Just really need a laptop now.
