I was waiting on the UP2516D to go back on sale (~$250) but got impatient... Any comparisons?

How do you submit a price protection claim? Do you just start a live chat with Dell? Not sure where to look.

They're submitting price protection claims with their credit card company. Many cards, including cards from Citi, Discover and Chase, offer this service.

The claims usually have to be submitted with 90 days along with information about your purchase and information about the new, lower price.

Ah okay... that's what I kind of thought as well but wanted to see if it was possible without doing that. Had some trouble with the Chase price protection with using slickdeals unfortunately. They kept demanding an advertisement with a date and apparently Slickdeal screenshots that evne though have a date of when it was posted do not count or they might be blind...

I bought 2 of these 10 days ago from Dell with the deal they had running. They are being used for my work from home setup and I absolutely love them. No gaming, just your typical office work - document review, spreadsheets, email, and web surfing. Screen is bright, crisp, and thin bezel is fantastic.

Price rewind is a huge bonus. Assuming I can net $100 per Dell gift card from eBay, final cost comes out to $81 each! Thanks OP for posting!

Do Citi Price Rewind and Discover Price Protection require you to provide an advertisement with a date on it? I know Chase does which makes it difficult to get price protection when we get these slickdeals but no legit advertisement with a date on them Frown.

I submitted the price rewind just a few hours ago so we will see what happens. I submitted a screenshot of BestBuy price, but it doesn't have a date on it. In this instance, they can just go to Bestbuy website and see the price first hand.

Thanks for the info on Chase...I will keep this in mind if I ever decide to get one of their cards.
