It looks like one is well off buying this

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DCEK...rd_w=3KKXT

for $170 since one needs the included items anyway (plus you need the deep cycle battery, a big amount).

Any chance this combo will get reduced in price?

Here is the one for 10$ more than the poly ones from grape solar. All the hold outs from that one looking for mono. Not the latest most efficient model bit 100 = 100 watts

Can this be used to charge EV cars? What kit else is required to convert the adapter to 12V outlet so I can plug into charging port?

How long are you willing to wait to charge your car?

That kit sends you down the costlier stand-alone path, with batteries.
  • Useful anywhere electricity costs a fortune (such as rural Hawaii) to go off-grid.
  • Requires lots of expensive lead-acid batteries, which must be replaced periodically.

The more efficient way to apply these is in an array through an inverter (w/sync) and transfer switch back to the grid, which acts as the 'battery'. Spinning the electric meter backwards directly lowers the bill and, with a big enough system, they pay you each month.

Now if you intended this for a single panel, single battery, low-power installation, NM!

(FTM have seen these panels on sale recently at ~$80.)

Sorry, no can find that email ATM. But that only takes it down to $0.80/watt. Waiting for prices to hit $0.50/watt to bite.
