$10 RR WYB $20 or more on Gilette shave needs. Select Cartridges, razor systems, shave gel or cream.

Heads up! The $3 blinkies that have been available at various places for the Gillette note they are limit 2 per transaction/household/day AND the WG register limits you to two of these.

Question about this deal - If I do this deal and use two $3 blinkies, can I then use $10 in points to pay, plus the balance in cash, and get the RR?

Yes, it's been THAT long since I've tried a RR deal at WG. PLUS, trying to figure out if I have the strength to play the RR game again. laugh out loud

I haven't done a RR deal in 5 years laugh out loud but I've been studying FB groups Reading and I have read you CAN use points to pay for a RR-producing item...and receive the RR. Here is a chart I found:

its actually even more complicated than that, there are situations where you can use points and still earn points on threshold deals. If you combine a threshold deal with other items and the amount of mfc and cash is at least as much as the threshold, you will still get the points.
So for example, if the threshold deal is wyb $15, and you have $25 in total product ($15 of which count towards the threshold deal and $10 in other product) with $15 in mfc on the trans, you could still use $10 in points and get the threshold deal points back
Lets say you have $25 in total product and only $10 in mfc, you could still use $10 in points and pay $5 cash/gc and get the threshold points back

Well I guess a welcome is in order to all the RA converts. Lol. I see comments referring to CRTs too (Register Rewards) so we have some obvious CVS popping in it seems as well.
Just an fyi to those who don't remember or didn't know since I see mention of paying with GC and questions on earning points. You will NOT earn points if you use a return GC to pay.
Any GC you purchased is fine including a regular Walgreens purchase gc. The return GC is like paying with points so would count against the purchase the same way.

I could only wish there were things at WG as good as CRTs at CVS. I'm not sure who did it, but I would NEVER use CRTs and RRs interchangeably!

Plus, WG has been so tough because once you're used to a price checker at CVS, there's nothing to compare at WG.

Saying all that, WG was my first 'true love' of the drugstores, so I try to keep the door open to the best of the deals. I used to use it like a convenience store before joining SD.

That makes sense. If only I lived near you and could bring you with me when I went shopping.. my couponing life would be so much easier. LMAOlaugh out loud You're so good at this.

I used to be awesome at Wags, but taking a 5 year hiatus screwed me all up. Things have changed so much.. at both CVS and Wags. I'd never interchange RRs for CRTs though!

I am a reader/researcher by nature. I prefer SDs style and the friends I've made on here to FB groups (especially when some post so many sketchy deals).. I participate and try to help people on FB but also share any deals I find on FB.. on this site, because this is my home.. This is where my couponing escapades started.

Thanks for the info on the GCs. I had not read that yet!

NP, but it wasn't my graph. It was one I found on FB and found it helpful, so put it here. I have no idea who the OP of it was because I have seen it posted a few times on FB; otherwise I would give credit.. I don't want to take credit for something I didn't make. Smilie

the deal i did this morning to use my 7/20
neutrogena bogo50% and $5 wyb 3
3 x 8.99 acne
3 x 8.99 hydro blast
total 40.44
- 10 off 20 store q
- 3 x $4 IP hydro
- 3 x $2 IP cleansing
total $12.44 used $10 in points (oop was $18 in coupons and $2.44 in leftover balance to equal the $20 required oop for the 7/20)
also used a $5 points back on $15
got back $22 in points ($10 neut, $7/20, $5/15 offer) and $9 in ibotta

there are many ways to re-work this deal if you don't have all those offers
* there are also 7.99 neut acne items that count for the ibotta, if that helps anyones scenario
