What a great deal when coupled with eBay Bucks promo and Chase PayPal promo. Itching to pull trigger but Newegg has been aggressive dumping these in multiple channels and reviews are generally poor despite good specs for price..

Windows activation is the main problem. Some people cant get it to work and have to jump through hoops to resolve it.

As a side note, I will not purchase any computer from Ebay ever again. I tried to get one at the start of the month and the order was canceled on me after 3 days. I then ordered and received another one that was listed as new and unopened but when I got it, it was missing the RAM and Hard Drives. I have a complaint in for it but who know how that will go.

Finally, the reviews for Newegg are terrible on Ebay. I saw this deal earlier and passed because of this.

Similar specs to the Wal-Mart black friday deal @$250 by late december, and that one works great. Think that one only had a 1tb

I bought this few months ago. Be ware of windows activation issue. I personally didn't have that problem. It is running well. If you plan to expand you would be disappointed with tight case, low power supply and disappointing disappointing 2 sata on the motherboard, are you kidding me? Good for as is at the price. OK deal if you are planning to upgrade stuff

Depends on what you want to use it for. I mean say technically you get a 1050ti for 120ish and a 240 gig SSD for 60. You have a decent rig for mid tier gaming. For office productivity I'd be fine and a bit overkill etc.

I bought this a couple months ago and had the Windows activation issue. I talked with two people at Microsoft, and they were able to activate Windows within about 20 to 30 minutes total. Don't waste your time contacting Newegg... you have a legitimate license. Overall the machine seems fast, but the drive is kind of loud which is annoying and makes me wonder how good of quality it is. Overall I'm happy though at this price point.

I also had a problem with Windows activation. MS said the product key was invalid, and couldn't help. Acer help desk was awful, and did not resolve the problem despite multiple calls. I had to ultimately escalate it up through Newegg management team to get a valid product key. The ordeal took 3 weeks. So buyer beware. Someone wrote I could have bought Windows 10 license for $10. Sounded questionable to me.

Said everyone!
Easy enough to clone this hdd to an ssd of your choice, or nest to do a fresh install (keeps the bloat out, but more advanced of course).

Got this machine last month. In the past threads for the system there was a Youtube video series about it that helped me learn about some of those things - like how there's only 2 sata ports on the mobo. Picked up a SSD at the same time and hooked it up, moving the 2TB included drive to the second position as a slave and that required unhooking the optical drive.

I installed Win 10 from scratch with the Microsoft installation tool using a USB drive and the installation took less than 10 minutes OMG (first SDD experience). Never had a problem with activation either with the original drive or the new installation.
