Looking for a EDU mail box??

424 26 May 22, 2018 at 03:46 PM
HI All

I need a EDU mail address. I went on ebay and theres people selling them there. If i get an email there, will the person sending me the edu address be able to intercept private information like credit card numbers and ss# that i might include in a email?

I thought i might be able to revive my olde email from the school i attended but no success. They want to see a current student i.d to re enable it.

thanks

zack

Are you trying to do something unsavory?

Never ever email a ssn or credit card number. This is Internet 101 circa 1995...
Email is only about as secure as a postcard.

Most good discounts and things you can qualify for as a student rely on more than simply having a .edu email account. Lots of schools alumni associations offer "email for life" allowing people to keep their old edu account or forward mail somewhere. I think I have 4 .edu email accounts that are still active, this is why the good discounts all require additional verification.

Why do conservative politicians oppose conservation?
Have you ever stopped to think the long-term GOP immigration policy might be to make the United States of America a less desirable place to live than Mexico?

Nearly every problem and atrocity in the world boils down to someone's pursuit of imaginary things (religion, borders, money). Do away with these and humanity might have a chance.
