i agree. a good deal's a good deal if people can replicate it. if there was such a rule, then i guess black friday deals shouldn't get posted until that day -_-

Thanks Cal

PTZ - noted no IR leds. ( means you'll need external IR leds - which actually is good for a dome, as domes have internal reflection issues when they have internal IRs )

I also concur w/iluv

OP posted the date in the title when active, thus good post imho.

Update:
The PTZ dome is what makes this kit really interesting, this should perform well in low light conditions - and looks like a good item for your front porch:

1080p PTZ Dome: 1/2.7" 2.1 Megapixel Sensor

From the spec sheet, up to 4x zoom

Ok, found what appears to be the approx Dahua OEM international model equivalent. Note Lorex does strip the IVS features from the firmware, so it's not 100% the same:
SD22204T-GN
2MP 4x PTZ Network Camera
https://www.dahuasecurity.com/pro...etail/3761

Example of video capture

Price from Chinese vendors - est $120-140

Wall mount: Dahua OEM PFB203W
Junction box: Dahua OEM PFA137, PFA130-E should also work

Remember to extend the life of the dome camera - mount it in a location which is protected from direct UV exposure.

4MP Dahua OEM mini-bullet cameras look like they are going for about $100 from Chinese vendors, my guess is that the bullets in this kit are probably a cheaper model as they are missing the IVS features.

I really only need 2 bullet style for outside and was hoping for 2 dome for inside. Are there issues using bullet style cameras indoors if places in corners to get maximum viewing angle?

Hi StealinDealz, Vaillyjatt,

Looks like a decent kit.

Remember, take some time to determine your needs first.

Also remember color night vision is largely a marketing term, and thus you should have little trust in it.

Do check out the notes I've posted in the wiki.

Everything works rather well indoors - mostly a question of looks.

When placing in corners look for no more than 90 degree H FOV cameras as more is just wasting pixels and getting shorter ID distances

Note - it is possible to customize your own kit, and pick the exact cameras you want - it will probably cost a bit more, but you will be able to meet your functional needs better.
