This brand has great reviews, has the capability to do 3 way on/off without the use of a remote switch and is a dimmer!

Not the best deal I've seen on a dimmer but Good deal for all this functionality at this price point! Especially when taking into consideration that you don't need a remote switch to use 3 way functionality!

problem is, you won't be able to dim from the remote switch like you can with the addon switches, with something like GE dimmers.

also, CCC says this is normal price for these.
also also, unknown company, i would be a bit hesitant to put them in my house.
also also also, Zooz dimmers, if you're looking for something not GE, can be had on sale for 25$.

this isn't really a great price for a no-name dimmer, especially since you lose dimming at the remote switch.

ps.
you should reword what you wrote as well... you still need a "remote switch" and it's associated wiring back to this switch, you just don't need the special GE Add-On switch. that's a pretty big difference.

You're right, not but EVERYONE needs the dimmer on both sides. Perfect example is myself. I have a 3 way application where the "remote" switch is there for the very few times I need to turn the light off when leaving through the door and I forgot to do so before getting to that point. I don't really care what level the dimmer is on, and worst case scenario I'd just tell Alexa to brighten the place up.

Does the zooz do 3 way? If so I'm sure the cost for the remote switch is more than $5

This switch has an application for a specific setup but may be useful to some of us out there Smilie

Finally just because CCC is saying this is the normal price doesn't mean it's not a good price. Are there any other dimmers you can find right now that offers 3 way (albeit limited), dimming, z wave plus, for less than $30 from a legit website?

Not trying to be rude, genuinely interested!
