Tekton 18792 15pc Metric Combination Wrench Set 8mm-22mm

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OZJN3PQ/

$30.40 with prime shipping. According to the camel, cheapest it's ever been. nod

I like tekton products so I picked it up. Nice thing about most of their sets is you get every size in between with no skips. Hopefully the inch set will come down as well.

Tekton makes great tools. My favorite of theirs are their socket sets. I have the complete 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2", sets and recommend them to everyone I know. I also bought their 3/4" metric set for doing my wheel bearings, but that is cheap Chineseum and can't recommend it at all. It did work though.

I am tempted. But I use mostly GearWrench tools. A 22 set of GW is about $100. Can Tekton compare with GW?

Just a reminder that if you're looking for a cheap wrench set, Harbor Freight has them, and they have a lifetime warranty. Not top quality or anything, but if you ever round off the points on a wrench, for instance, you can take it back to HF and get a new replacement one for free. And using this site [hfqpdb.com], you can get a coupon for just about anything that HF sells.

I've had some cheap garbage tools before. None of my tekton tools have felt cheap, all seem very nice quality and have held up, though I am not a heavy user. But equally as nice or nicer than USA craftsman tools I've handled, as well as a few SK pieces I have.

I'm hoping to be equally as impressed with this set, despite the price.

For what it's worth, Tekton is a USA company but almost everything I've gotten from them is Taiwanese. They have a lifetime guarantee but I've yet to test it.

If you are on a budget, get these. Decent quality for the price.

I bought a Tekton wrench set 5+ years ago and still to this day, I use it on a weekly basis. Mainly used for wood/yard work.

Id say tekton is comparable. Im a big GW also but all my impact sockets are tekton. Lots of their sets don't skip sizes which I'm a fan of.

Had a Tekton torque wrench break on me and I got a new one with just a couple emails. Great service. Don't need any more wrenches but I wouldn't hesitate with these.
