Lowes currently has their GE Z-wave plus switches on sale. When you stack these with the current coupons ($20 off $100, $10 off $50 or 10% off), you can achieve the following prices depending on how many you buy.

On/Off Switch [lowes.com] ($27.99 w/o coupon)
1 - $25.19 (10% off coupon )
2 or 4 - $22.99 ($10 of $50 or $20 off $100 coupon)

Dimmer [lowes.com] ($34.99 w/o coupon)
1 - $31.49 (10% off coupon)
2 - $29.99 ($10 off $50 coupon)
3 - $28.32 ($20 off $100 coupon)

Slickdeals Lowes coupon thread

There is a current frontpage deal for the on/off from amazon for $29.32.

One disadvantage of the GE z-wave switches is that they need a special add on switch to be used in a 3-way switch. Others like Involli [amazon.com]or Zooz [thesmartesthouse.com]can use a standard switch, though it does require figuring out the correct wiring.

Keep in mind the $20 GE Add-On switch, when used with a dimmer, can also dim while the Involi and Zooz only will have on/off for your old switch. The add-on switch also supports double tap features for both on/off and dimmers. Worth it for me personally and I like that you can buy cheap Leviton paddle switches that match the GE style pretty closely for lights you don't need to be "smart".

Involli or Zooz are the only way to go now. Best bang for buck and a no brainer if you have a three way or four way setup since you save at least $20 per slave switch

While I don't need any more of these (good deal by the way) the information regarding the other two products is great. I didn't realize not having an add on switch was an option out there. Thanks.

The model # on the 1st link is for a toggle switch, though the pictures are for a paddle switch (model 14291). Could someone confirm which information is right?

Involli seems to have a very short list of compatible LEDs for dimming. I have about 40 hyperkion LED retrofit lights and Involli explictly lists them as incompatible. My GE stuff handles them perfectly fine.

Stack with this deal $115 GC for $100 or other 10% off like: $50 GC for $45

Also with the disadvantage comes an advantage: the addon switch extends the functionality of the base switch/dimmer in that it can dim as well and support double tap etc.

yes, I noticed this too. Ready to place an order for 5 switches total (3 reg, 2 dimmers) but need to verify what I'm buying.
