Do any of the FreedomPoP options allow just using a phone as a phone, or is everything VoiP/require via the FreedomPoP app?

Yeah, I cancelled my account when it shipped (I bought Moto E2 for 5$ maybe 10 days ago from other thread), I then registered at Freedompop.com/activate by paying 1$ to start on Free Plan 200mb/Month. You can use it in gym for workout, etc. the Screen has Gorilla Glass 3 and I tried scratching screen with keys to test it and couldn't scratch at all. Also the CPU is quite good, compare Moto E2 vs Moto E4 -

Moto E2 - https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/8299757
498/1253

vs compare it to 2017 Moto E4 - https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/8249489
693/1941

Plus it has FM Radio and it is quite good, neat. I can't record the experience to share but it is amazing. Mine was old refurbished Boost Mobile version but phone itself was in great quality, no scratches or marks whatsoever, but because it is white in color, you could tell it is used due to little discoloration here and there.

500MB is for Sprint based devices/hotspot, like Franklin R850 or Netgear Zing (they work on CDMA/Sprint)

200MB is for AT&T based devices, I am might be wrong but this Infomark Mark Photon is AT&T LTE based and not Sprint.

However by adding FP friends you will get 500MB more so total 700MB (actually 600MB before it triggers automatic topup)

Yes, but cancel the account after it ships if you just plan to use it on WiFi or as MP3/FM/Video player, etc. and total cost will be 5$ for you.

What I did was cancel the account after it shipped, and then later went to FreedomPop.com/activate and paid 1$ with my Cash App Card (search cash app in google, they give 1$ off any coffee shop purchase above $1.50) and I could start directly on 200MB/month with paying the 15$ downgrade fee. But it is meh cause sprint FreedomPop service is throttled to 1Mbps speed

200mb is way too low for hotspot.

I have a legacy Sprint free plan on LG F3 a 2nd line and it get used. Sound echos a lot.

I just need a better phone - possibly ATT sim. I have a spare 4G LTE phone. I did buy some FP sims from BestBuy (need to locate them).

What would be the best move to port the number? Would the echo goes away on a newer phone? Is BYOD phones are better than FP phones?
