Near the all time price low of $31.50 and a popular slickdeal in the past (https://slickdeals.net/f/11324667-ge-z-wave-plus-wireless-smart-lighting-control-outdoor-module-31-34?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1 )

Also, "LIKE NEW" available for approx $28 (edit: Like New appears to be sold out)

These work great. I bought two of the first generation ones from Walmart for my outdoor christmas lights. They are good quality and survived many inches of snow and rain.

How do these work? I've actually been wanting to add the Costco lights too in my backyard.

Yes, anything plugged in acts as a repeater

Not everything, but close. That's why I'm asking here.

I have two of the older one of these. Regular zwave and not plus. But regardless, they work quite well. Never had to run inclusion on my smartthings hub since I've added them. At least compared to all the other zwave stuff that occasionally drops off the network. These are very reliable. Use them to power a backyard waterfall pump and also outdoor lighting per schedule set in ST.

I have this as well and use it to power hanging backyard lights (which I trigger via SmartThings & Alexa). As others have said, range isn't the greatest compared to other Z-wave stuff, but if you can position it close enough it works well.
