This drive is enterprise SSD for data center and professionals that need the reliability and higher write endurance of MLC. The price is cheaper than Samsung's 850/860 Pro 1TB and the specs are comparable, so you pay less and get 1.6TB of reliable enterprise SSD for your professional needs.

If you are a gamer and you want cheapest SSD for storing games, the Micron 1100 2TB for $269.99 from time to time is a better deal, this Intel drive is for professionals that need the extra write endurance from MLC for video editing, photoshop, etc...

Newegg is reputable like eBay and Amazon. If anything happens, Newegg will take care of their customer. If merchants try to scam customers, they would be banned from Newegg.

This just a Intel 340 drive from 4-5 years ago Intel had branded as enterprise. Only good thing is the size, though crucial 2TB MX500 is only $350 also.
