Really hope the 4k variants start pushing the prices of 1440p IPS g-sync monitors under $500...

Good find!

For those that are thinking about this deal and pay sales tax, consider B&H at $742. Might end up a bit cheaper than Amazon.

If you use the Amazon account then you get 5% off which usually offsets some of the tax.

Are you talking about the credit card? If so, it is 5% back, which is slightly different. If you are referring to some other 5% off deal, share the details! Smilie

THIS! I love B&H. If you live outside NY or NJ you get it tax free with free shipping. Once I found B&H I got everything from them where I could for my latest build.

Yeah that's the one. Their credit card or the store card.

until they make graphics cards that can play most games at 4k 144 fps i dont see that happening anytime soon.

also they dont even make a cable yet that can transmit 4k above 60 fps.

i own this monitor, i got it on an open box deal from newegg for 550 dollars. it has backlight bleed, but only on dark scenes so it doesnt bother me. i am not gonna buy another monitor until this one breaks or a 4k oled 120fps is released for under 1k

Display Port 1.3 and 1.4 cables transmit 4K @ 120Hz whereas HDMI 2.1 Cables can do 4K, 5K, 8K and 10K at 120Hz.

Need IPS 32" 4k or 34" 21:9 3440x1440 at 144+ Hz and under 5ms without horrible back light bleed. It feels like the panel industry is dragging their feet to get there in order to ring out as much money as they can.
