LG 65" OLED C8AUA with free 3yr Squaretrade warranty at Costco - $3149.99

New 65" C8 series LG OLED TV with free 3 year Squaretrade warranty for $3149.99. Costco membership is required. If you have/get an Executive Membership and use the Costco CitiCard, you can get 4% back on the purchase, and use Citi PP to get an extra $500 off.

Maybe not the cheapest deal, but you can get an awesome extended warranty between between LG (1 year), Costco Citi card (2 years), and Squaretrade (3 years), which is nice when you're dropping $3k on a TV (I think they stack that way, if not then it's at least 4 years total).

I didn't want to buy this TV without an extended warranty because I actually bought it as soon as it came out from Best Buy, but returned it 2 weeks later because it developed a stuck white pixel in that time. Really ruined those perfect black levels!

Only problem with the Citi Price protection is that the OLED65C8AUA is only sold by Costco, so unless they lower the price you cannot get price protection.

You would be better off buying from Greentoe or somewhere like that for $2500, using price protection against eBuyUSA or similar to bring it down closer to $2000 and then buying the 4 year (1 year manufacturer plus 3 years Squaretrade) for $99 warranty from Costco

I had not thought about the Costco specific model giving me trouble for Citi PP. I will say that Citi's website doesn't specifically say C8PUA anywhere when I select the item and my order invoice from Costco.com doesn't say C8AUA (just their unique item number for the website). I submitted the claim for TVSuperstores.com ($2079) with screenshots and the like. We'll see if it goes through. If not, given Costco's generous return policy I might do exactly what you're saying and return it to Costco and get it through Greentoe or elsewhere so I get the actual C8PUA model instead.

I need to get a good warranty on my new TCL 65" 6 series so will check out square trade. Not a costco member and bought it at BB with Visa.

I better hurry, small print Coverage only available for new TVs bought in the past 30 days.

Any word yet from Citi on the PP claim? If this works, it would be helpful for others to know.
