This is a great deal since it is not just for active duty or military retirees but also good for veterans. We will be taking our granddaughter to Seaworld; my husband served ten years in the Navy so he doesn't qualify for the retired offers.

Hello - I thought veterans include those who served in the Navy? Have you tried verifying him using troop id?

Worked for me. Create your troop.id as it makes getting all of these types offers much quicker and easier.
(veteran, not retired). Tickets are already in my email box.

Not trying to be greedy, but is it limited to only one park. No plans yet, so not sure where to go.

Right, he qualified this year as a veteran but a lot of previous offers required being either active duty or retired. He served ten years so he didn't qualify for retirement benefits. Smilie

I got to the checkout part, and then it says something about submitting the order to proceed to specifying the names of the guests. So, you have to name the people ahead of time? Like each person has a ticket with their name on it? I'm not exactly sure who will go with me that day, does it really matter whose names are on the tickets?

I got to the same part but no clue when I will go.... or who i will go with so i'll check out at a later date.
They will most likely want exact names of ur guests and their IDs when they show up.

Thank you! I was able to verify my service pretty quick, but I am a little perplexed by the statement that the veteran must provide a military ID. Veterans only have military ID's if they retired from service.

https://seaworld.com/san-antonio/...321d193a84

How it Works
Veteran must provide military ID.
To take advantage of these offers, click the Troop ID button to verify your former U.S. Military status.
Offer extends to U.S. Military Veterans, retired Veterans and retirees who have honorably served and includes one complimentary admission per promotional period per Veteran and up to three guests.

In 2015, Congress mandated that the Department of Veterans Affairs provide veterans with an ID card specifically designed to help them identify as retired or separated members of the United States Military.

I think that is what kjegbert is saying. Her husband probably qualifies as a veteran, but not as a retiree. I am in the same boat. I am a veteran, but I did not retire. I have a veteran id card that allows me to get discounts. Sea World/Busch Gardens is very pro-military. I wish other parks were like this..... Hello Disney and Universal???
