I was hoping it'd be cheaper, it was $120 or so in the past for another holiday I think. Pep Boys also has it for $150 after a coupon. Not sure which place would be better, but that probably depends more on the employees.

I have the Lifetime Alignment at Firestone. They suck. I will never pay for such again. The alignment would be off again in 3 months. They strip the nut so bad that I had to replace the whole rod assembly. After that, I took my car to the dealership. Only took once in 2 yrs.

I agree. People should really be aware of what exactly is included in any alignment. Many of the box stores don't do the shims for the camber on certain vehicles...which will cause premature tire wear.

It spends on the Firestone location. I've had some bad experiences but I overall, I've had great ones. The location I currently go to has an employee with a touch of OCD, and I trust him on the alignment more than I would a dealership and the price is much cheaper since I have lifetime alignment.

Alignments also depend on road conditions and driving habits. Anyone could have an alignment out a couple days after getting an alignments if driving on bumpy dirt roads or hitting a curb. I've gone 16+ months sometimes in between alignments before with everything still perfect.

Prepare to get a weird look every time you come back for a "free lifetime" alignment.

You could buy a set of tires at discount tire for under $350. They will give you lifetime alignment.
Why pay $150 for bad service?

It's true I would never do lifetime again at Tiresplus or Firestone
They give unwelcome look when you go twice a year for checking
