NO RESISTOR LISTED ON PRODUCT PAGE.

Not USB-C compliant - potentially dangerous to your device.
Buyer Beware!

Not an expert, but pretty sure USB-C cables have a 56k resistor to protect electronics that use the higher power standards. So a convertor that makes USB micro into USB-C without a built in chip/resistor can be dangerous to your devices. Look at prior deals for similar adapters

Upon further digging in the Q and A and the reviews, these do include a 56k resistor. Just search and you'll see.

EDIT: Scratch all that. I was a victim of amazon's combining reviews for different items, even when not on the same page. No evidence found that these connectors have resistors. Cancelled my order.

Did a find on page search, didn't show up. Must have to extend question answers? Who posted that? If not in product details/description, not official in my book.

How is this gaining so much traction?
Can't tell if shill accounts (this company has been a Slickdeal sweetheart for years) pushing it or if the mob is just easily swayed.

One of the 18+ people who Thumbed Up this deal please explain it to me.

Any idea if these are safe for USB-C to micro USB? It would be nice to have a couple laying around since I always keep a USB-C cable for my phone, but it would be nice to be able to get rid of the extra micro USB cables I keep in my bag/car.

I think this pack only includes the other direction - turning male micro-USB cable into USB-C male end.

Be safe and get a reputed brand like anker and fall for shill deals (usually random coupons not found online in any other website, Haven't checked this)

Well, I think RAVpower has the better reputation than AUCKEY.
