Looks like the Samsung ia a TN panel

IPS panels like the LG have better colors and viewing angles

Excellent monitor. I now have two and find that it's a great viewing size from about 20" away from my noggin. Something to note: If you plan on connecting this monitor via HDMI, make sure that your video card supports HDMI 2.0 (higher bandwidth specification versus 1.4 and below). Anything below this version will not provide anything above 30Hz which renders this monitor unusable or, in other words, provides a very sluggish experience.

I use 2 of these for Design/3D modeling work as well as light gaming and they work great for me.

How is this one for watching YouTube TV along with using it as a regular monitor?

What's the difference between the 27UD59-B and 27UD60-B?

This seems like a pretty good deal.

I order the 29UM68 a few weeks back from BH Photo and was originally looking for 4K but at $180 for a nice 29" display, I was OK with the Ultrawide's resolution. No tax and free shipping.

2" smaller but 4K? Sucks about the tax but it's Costco so that means great return policy and extended warranty from Costco.

Currently have a 29" ultra wide as a second monitor and find that I turn my head way too far to the left to see the other side of the monitor. Want to get a 4k instead but unsure if 27" is too small like some have said. It's a second monitor and I just want a high res second monitor for reading and videos.

thinking of grabbing this to replace my ultra wide but debating if I should wait for a bigger size.

Why do you want such a tiny monitor at 4K though? Why not use that resolution to scale up a bit?

Even if you don't have a lot of vertical space for a bigger screen, I'd at least go with a 34" ultrawide then.
I have a 4k 27 inch monitor and the difference is extremely noticeable when I switch from 4k to 1080p. Text is much sharper on 4k. Yes you need to scale some text up because 4k on 27" is a little small, but there are still real benefits to doing so. It would be difficult for me to go back to 27" 1080p now.
