OOS everywhere but one store shows $150. Wow. Be surprised if anyone actually got that price.

I just don't trust brickseek information. I was looking for a coffee maker a while back and it showed 10 in stock at a certain store and there wasn't a single one. My area does show 2 about a half hour away from me, but I don't think it's worth the trip to get there and find once again that the inventory was wrong.

On deals like these, don't be surprised to find that employees hide them away for purchase themselves later. For example, this exact TV showed 3 in stock at a location near me, so I went over there last night. Talked with the guy in electronics who seemed to know about the deal because he knew the model number I was looking for. He swore up and down that the inventory listed on the site is wrong and not to trust it since they were sold. I asked him if they were sold today and he said they had sold those three it lists days ago. In fact, he said he had sold one himself. I told him that was complete and utter nonsense and either they had 3 TVs stolen or someone was pulling a fast one. He seemed taken aback a bit, and quickly apologized for not having them, then scurried off to the back. I just checked again and lo and behold there's now 2 available. Hmmmmmm...

What do people use for tuners on these? I don't watch OTA often but I'll need a solution if I'm to convince the wife.

I had a similar issue years ago at circuit city. I found a manager and magically he found my tv. Never trust regular employees.

Anybody successfully and not in a YMMV situation bought a tv like this for the online price then done a return and rebuy in a store with the lower price? Does Walmart have any kind of policy on this or is it just luck?

I know. I usually don't, but it was late and Wal-Mart employees make themselves scarce at that time. I was lucky to even catch the one I did, but he was probably perusing for what other deals he could snag.

The TV wouldn't go into that store's inventory so you wouldn't be able to do that. The online orders get sent back to go back into walmart.com inventory.
