One more vote for going straight to a power cage over a rack as I am in the process of upgrading from an outgrown standard rack

this kind gentleman has created a page for finding attachments for your power rack/cage as since the setup is a few common sizes for steel tubing and the pre-drilled holes accessories from other manufacturers (Rouge for example) may also work on your cage. His list is broken down by tubing size (ie 2x2, 2x3, etc) and pre-drilled hole size, as well as total depth of cage. Then once you find your setup he'll have a list of accessories from everybody that will fit. Dip bars in particular have a bunch of different setups/angles depending on manufacturer however your body size/type may be better suited to a competitors setup vs whatever Valor fitness has to offer.

Bought this probably 6 months ago to upgrade my basic squat/bench rack. Best buy on the market in my opinion after much research. Cable system works great.

You can get a high quality flat bench for sub 100 on Amazon with a really high weight limit for stuff like box squats (850 lbs), but those aren't necessarily adjustable. I would suggest a power cage over a squat/bench rack because they are pretty much all you'll ever need and not need to upgrade. The pull down attachment is the main thing you might want that's missing from your basic place and this one has it, so this is most likely pretty much perfect for you.

Agree with him but if you aren't going to go for a cage/rack you can usually find options on Craigslist depending on where you live.

Damn, only if I had seen this 8 months back when I started. I bought a $350 one from Amazon that came with a bench, but this one is so amazing! It has everything that a beginner to advanced weight lifter would need. I wish I can sell mine and buy this one.

gonna be honest . I think that squat rack looks pretty cheap/lame. Others have said that it wobbles.

you can get a Rogue Fitness squat rack for the same price.. not even on sale.
Rogue is known as one of the best brands on the market. My Rogue has NEVER wobbled .

one I suggest.
https://www.roguefitness.com/sml-...quat-stand

all of rogues squat racks
https://www.roguefitness.com/rogu...uat-stands

also someone previously stated that what has been posted is on EBAY for 300 regularly. which seems MORE IN LINE with a deal for this.

I bought this flat bench on Amazon a couple years ago.. GREAT BENCH. very sturdy

rated for 1000 lbs. Might be overkill for some of you

I have an entire home gym. gotta alot of deals and have alot of advice I could give. I bought most of my stuff with LOTS of research and deal finding

This is a great deal, I do have to add though there's much better setups if your serious and looking for a long term set-up. I've owned various brands over the years. Hands down my favorite is the Ethos Power Rack from Dicks Sporting Goods. 16 gauge steel. Lifetime warranty. I got in for $525 on Black Friday with the 25% off any Dicks Sporting Good order. It's definitely worth $175 more than this. If you're willing to wait on the next 25% Dicks Sporting Good coupon, I'd definitely wait. https://m.dickssportinggoods.com/...wrrck10gmu

Edit: Typing on my phone and mistyped this was supposed to say 11 gauge not 16 gauge.

ETHOS is simply copying rogue. and not even offering a lower price

Agreed but they do it well though. I've owned Rogue and Ethos. No difference. Didn't want to pay to move my Rogue cross country and got a good percentage of what I paid for it on Craigslist. If you can get the Ethos for $525 way more slick. It's all 11 gauge steel. Plus I like the Ethos pull up grips better. And if looks are a plus, Ethos wins. Plus Ethos has that extended platform that hooks on the front for holding the bar on Deadlifts. That's crucial.
