Thoughts on how this compares to the Acer Spin 5 which goes on sale at Costco for $599 in a few days?

Looks like the Dell's advantages are the i7 vs i5 and the Windows Hello-capable camera. Acer has a metal cover, slightly lower weight and Costco's warranty behind it.

Just wish this had a better graphics card then just the onboard UHD 620, like an Nvidia 1050gt or 1060gt. I do Love the 8th gen i7 CPU. Seems to hold it's own compared to it's 7th gen i7 7700hq cousin that uses a lot more power. Touch screen and pen seem nice.

It wouldn't make sense to put a better graphics card in this. The on-board GPU is just fine for its intended use.

The reviews on this thing are patchy. Too many mentions of noisy fan and overheating. Par for the course for Dell I guess. You would think that was something they could easily identify during design.
