There are some cross play windows 10/xbox one games out there now but I don't think this is one of them.

You wouldn't want to anyway because you would want to mod the game and start with a clean save. This game on PC is meant to be modded... there's just no reason not to.

Would this game be compatible with the saves and DLC with Xbox One or no?

Xbox Play Anywhere games are but your game is not on the list. So I would say no.

It was possible to move saves on skyrim from 360 to pc and vice versa. It required a save editing program. Since it uses the same basic engine I think it should be possible. https://www.thetechgame.com/Downl...-tool.html might be able to do it.

Well you're not gonna get Base+DLC for anything less than $25 for some time yet. If you haven't played I'd say it's worth playing on its own and then a couple years down the road revisit it for the DLC when it's like, New Vegas cheap.

The lede was buried with this post. XCOM 2 is five bucks. That's a helluva deal. War Of The Chosen is pretty essential but it fundamentally changes the game which makes a playthrough of the original worth it.
