Dell Home has a 5675 on sale with a more than decent graphics card.

http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/ct...wrdsk923hg

Using coupon code 50OFF699 at checkout and the current Slickdeals.net Dell Home $100 rebate gets the final price down to $579.99 with free shipping.

As a further incentive, on top of the previous savings, you also get $20.40 in Dell Cash.

This deal also qualifies for 12 month 0% financing and $61.20 in Dell Cash if you pay with your Dell Preferred Account.

$100 Slickdeals rebate (follow rebate directions!)- https://slickdeals.net/f/11630607-slickdeals-dell-home-tiered-rebate-50-off-299-99-100-off-549-99-150-off-799-99-and-200-off-999-99-free-s-h

This is a great beginners gaming system at an affordable price. The only thing I'd recommend adding immediately is at least 128gb SSD boot drive. It is a very easy self install. You can buy them all day for under $50. This motherboard has two m.2. slots. One is SATA. The other is PCIE.

This should do it. If you have any performance issues you might want to upgrade the ram to 12 or even better 16gb. DDR4 is just so expensive right now...

so 570 is between a 1050ti and 1060?
CPU is around an i5-8400?

Let's not pretend the $20 dell cash is = cash. $20 of dell credit might get you... a shit keyboard or mouse? and that's if shipping is even free.

true price of this is $729-50 (instant promo code) = 679 + tax (assuming 8%) - $100 rebate (weeks later) = 635ish
5% back on paypal/chase freedom helps a bit to get it right around 600.

I'm no expert, but I have read this from multiple sources. From my research...the AMD RX 570 4gb is about equal to a 3gb NVIDIA 1060. Games that use Direct x11 perform better with the 1060 3gb. Newer games using Direct x12 perform slightly better with the RX 570.

Both are great for 1080p gaming on max settings.

Ok so a 570 is way better then a 1050ti but way worse then a 1060. The i5 8400 is so much stronger. The r5 1400 is equal to i3 8100. Just search up (cpu) vs (cpu) or (gpu) vs (gpu) on google. Userbenchmark.com is the best way to compare things! Hope I helped!

What kind of 1060 are you referring to?? There is a big difference in processing power between the 1060 3gb and the 1060 6gb, not just different amounts of ram.

The benchmarks I read had the 1060 3gb and the RX 570 4gb as about equal.

The 6gb 1060 is superior to the 570.

My advice on these Dell systems, Buy this, but gut it for parts and buy a better power supply, motherboard and case. Why? Because Dell has their own proprietary parts for those and getting upgrades is a pain in the pocket from them. I usually build my stems but at today's prices for everything is !@#$en nuts! You can't build cheaper gaming rigs right now.

I have this PC and recommend adding a 92mm PWM front intake fan and new CPU cooler. It only comes with a rear 92mm exhaust fan and the 80mm fan on the CPU cooler is annoyingly loud.

This seems like a better deal than yesterday:

https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/391915

... if there wasn't a rebate involved, I'd return the other order.
