The power screw driver looks useless but I've never used it so I really don't know. The rest of the kit is worth maybe $10
The power screwdriver is far from useless. I purchased this for the kitchen drawer to keep the wife off my power drills and out of my tool box drawers. I found that I'm reaching for this more often than I am any screw driver in my drawers. Enough torque to handle most things provided it's not over torqued or rusted.
Beats using a conventional screwdriver for most jobs. Recently used it to dismantle and rebuild my PC. The thing that sucked is I paid nearly $17 just for the power screwdriver a couple months ago alone.
It's simply to help get the job done faster without having to whip out the power drill or take the time needed to us a screwdriver. One major downside is that there is no clutch. Best if used to unscrew and screw partially or stopped just right and hand tighten the rest of the way.

"But I've never used it", precisely. I maintain an apartment building and this screwdriver is one of the most used tool in my tool box. It's on my belt bag and that speaks for itself since any tool has to be good enough for daily use to be worth its weight on my belt. The screwdriver is worth $15 easily by itself. The rest is just bonus.
I bought the power screw driver alone for 20 bucks + tax about a year ago and love it. The fact that you can lock it into a gun shape for extra torque for manual screw mode is so awesome. Only gripe is nowhere on it to store the included Phillips head bit. Great deal!
The ratchet screwdrivers, like the one in this kit, are usually cruddy quality. The small metal band that holds the ball bearing in place, which holds the bit, comes off & gets lost, easily. Which basically makes it worthless. I have a kit with this type of ratchet nut driver, with the tilt handle, & the bits. The clip got lost years ago, & this thing now sits in the back of my tool cabinet.
I also have a B&D power screwdriver, that uses 4 AA batteries. I use it almost on a daily basis. These power screwdrivers are very handy, especially if you have a little arthritis. I'm sure that the one included, & the rest of this kit, are probably pretty handy.
