First post.
Literally, I should wait for the mark-down of new XPS 15 w/8750H, but this one doesn't look bad considering the relatively high price for RAM nowadays.

Note this is a certified refurbished item at Dell Outlet.
It has a 4k UHD (3840*2160) display covering 100% Adobe RGB gamut.

Price marked as $1558
$200 off via coupon: "DO1499200" ($200 off 1499)
$68 off via chase reward via paypal (5%)

=$1127

Warranty: Mail In Service after Remote Diagnosis, 1 Year; Dell Limited Hardware Warranty Initial Year.

Please let me know how you think, especially compared with the previous $700 deal (i5-7300HQ, 8GB RAM, 256 SSD).

unbeatable price.
the rebate site works. but the paypal does not work for me. When I tried to check out with paypal, the page return to the cart. Then I chat with their customer service, he said they have a technical issue when purchase with paypa... lol . Still good price w/o paypal discount

I guess what is mentioned in the post is an FHD rather than 4k display?...

I bought the FHD 16gb version on a previous sale. The drivers are the same, I do not recommend this laptop. It has terrible throttling issues and can barely run basic games. The quality control is below average and it is very likely you will end up with a clunky touchpad or other fault. I strongly advise anyone thinking about getting this laptop to review the numerous discussions on previous SD popular and frontpage posts. Just search "XPS 9560"

Yeah it makes me nervous when a laptop ends up on an outlet so soon. There had to be a reason why the last customer returned it but it's a hit or miss.

Try checking out as if you were going to use a regular card. I THINK there's a PayPal button later in the process that works. It used to be like that

I don't know if this is related to the 8th generation of Intel chips. Earlier the difference was incremental, but this time it was a big step. I am not sure if this was due to Ryzen from AMD.

I am also wondering what's the building quality of Precision M5520. It looks like same with XPS 15.

I actually got the previous i5 version, but the 8GB RAM makes me frustrated when using Lightroom for basic photo editings...

Too much for a certified refurbished?
Shouldn't be more like $800-900?
