Love my precip jacket. I think I got it for like 45 bucks (but then there was only limited sizes and colors).

Ditto. I've read negative reviews about the jacket but mine has been great and still looks brand new after a year

Been very happy with mine! Comparable (but not quite on the same level) as my recent Gore-Tex purchases. For the money, you can't go wrong.

This is my go to rain jacket for 4+ years now. I also got it for around $50. Good deal.

I have also been super happy with my Precip. It kept me nice and dry along a rainy 100mile walk through the West Highlands of Scotland last year. I love mine!

bought this jacket ~$55 last year after agonizing over various options since I live in seattle and hike a lot. not the highest end but great value. expecting to have to replace it after a few years since i am fairly hard on it. this is a very good price on it. my $55 one was some obscure site that was trying to dump inventory and had limited sizes/colors remaining

note: it is fairly roomy with its fit. I am generally between a medium/large and the medium has plenty of room for layers on me

Didn't they change this Precip jacket a few years back? I have one from before the change (I believe) but I don't remember what was different, I believe it was for the better though.

I liked mine for like 3 years, then the peeling began. Now when I wear it I get white flakes all over me. No longer waterproof... I wouldn't buy again.

I have been very happy with my precious jacket. Fits good, breaths good, and after 2 years is still waterproof!
