Great deal on a UniFi version of the Edgerouter Lite 3 I got. Although it's the same price the typical sales are it's still pretty good deal because of the features and rock solid nature of the Ubiquiti products.

sr71 with you posting all these Ubiquiti deals, I'm curious if you have any Ubiquiti products and what your setup might be. I got a ERL-3 and an AC Pro AP working at my house.

If you're running an Unifi setup, this is a must have. I'm currently running a USG, Unifi 16 Port POE switch, 1 UAP AC Pro and 1 UAP AC LR.

I have two of their AC-Pros and intend on getting one of their switches. Other than tying into the Unifi universe, I can't see a reason benching my R7000.

Looks like a good price. I'm curious about the features since I'm coming from an ac68u running Merlin's firmware. Does this gateway offer a VPN server, guest networks, QoS, VLAN, etc? Google gave me some answers but I was hoping an owner could shed some light. I plan to get the 8 port poe switch and 2x nanoHD AP's (when they're released).

Network noob here. How would this compare to a watchguard firebox? The T10 is like 2x costs, but what would a small business gain from a firebox vs usg?

I replaced the R7000 since it couldn't do more than 450-500 Mb/sec with gigabit fiber, while the UniFi one could do the full gigabit. Not the most common scenario, but there's one reason.

I ditched my X6 for this router. Stable and no drops like before.

On my setup, I'm currently running a couple of vlans for IOT and Guest networks and a Radius server (VPN) to VPN in to check on my web cams. There is a learning curve, I've watched a lot of YouTube and read a lot of forums, but it's been fun.

How are you guys liking the AC Pros?

I have an Edge Router X and an AC Pro i'm just starting to get setup. I may grab a second AP depending on how the coverage is in my house. Really want a 24 port POE switch in the future when I start adding more POE cameras.

I believe you can if you enable hardware NAT on your 7000

Sounds like this gateway can handle it all. I'm not concerned about the learning curve, just wanted to make sure the investment would be worth it. Thanks!

It's pretty slick and I highly impressed with mine. I'm always learning new things about and unifi HW via YouTube.

I just bought one from B&H photo a few weeks ago, does anyone know if they will provide a shipping label for returns there?
