1 TB is 1024 GB so somebody's converter is wrong if it converted 1024 GB to 1.024 TB.

I have the HP - OMEN by HP Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 1TB Hard Drive - Brushed Aluminum from Best Buy and I'm wondering if this is a worthy swap in. Is creating a copy of the OS it came with difficult? I like how it shows the Omen symbol when you start it up, and not sure if installing the OS from scratch is preferred.

The SanDisk spec sheet for the Ultra 3D SSD lineup lists "1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. 1TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes"
