I think this is a pretty good price, but there are some limitations

No 3d as someone mentioned and high input lag (not good for fps gaming), also there is no motion smoothing like what is found in the UHD65 which helps with watching sports

I have a similar projector (vivitek hk2288) and overall it does a great job in a light controlled room

I know JVC is releasing a dlp projector soon, but it will be using the less expensive 0.46" dmd, so we'll have to see if they can pull it off and maintain their impressive record with projectors

It does appeal to some, and I'm not sure why lots of these 4k projectors don't offer it... I know the benq ht2550 supports 4k and 3D (in 1080p)

Main thing people need to be aware of is the RGBCY color wheel.. if you or guests are sensitive then this thing is going to suck compared to RGBRGB

How's this stack up against the viewsonic PX747-4K? Is there a significant diff @1299.99?

Greater input lag though. Definitely not for multiplayer gaming.
Well RTS, and turn based are probably ok.

Is there, or will there be 4k 3d?
