So is the Arma III content in the top two tiers worth $20? I own the lower two tiers except for Tactics and it has negative reviews.

Some price history on the top two tiers.

Karts $0.67
Helicopters $4.07
Marksmen $4.07
Arma 3 $13.59

Apex has been $11.89

FYI: "Arma 3 Apex Edition includes digital versions of the Soundtrack, Maps, Arma 3 Tactical Guide (available only in English) and a gift copy of Arma: Cold War Assault." https://store.steampowered.com/sub/95419/

So it seems you get two copies of Arma III if you buy the top tier?

It must be, it's immediately skewed the BTA.
I refreshed at 22 purchases and the average was $6.40.
I don't see this one dropping back down below $10, climbed fast.

Yep. It took over a minute to load and within 20 sold the BTA was already $7 - $8. I did get 3 tabs refreshed when it was $6 but I that doesn't help me with this bundle.

Whoa, hadn't noticed that. Apparently worth it. Went from $7.76 to $11.66 in one refresh. (15-20 min)

I have never played any of the Arma games. I do own the games in the $1 tier and Arma 2, but none of the DLCs nor Arma 3. I once did a little research on Arma 3 and I wrote in my notes "Arma 3 may be a decent Battlefield 4 clone but wait for cheaper". These prices are basically the same as in Feb 2017 the last time this bundle was for sale and I passed on it. The only difference in this bundle vs. Feb 2017 is the addition of 2 DLCs in the $15 tier and the addition of the $20 tier.

Clearly RandomBlowHole is right that the top 2 tiers must be very popular given how fast the BTA rose from $6. Anyone who refreshed in the first ~20 seconds of the bundle could have locked in the $6 BTA. It seems like in the next 2 weeks I finally need to fire up Arma 2 to decide if it's worth $6 to get the DLCs. My guess is probably not.

I don't know if there's an Arma 3 demo for me to try because gameplay is so critical. I do know this: when I talk to people over the years talk about online FPS games, I either hear Battlefield or Call of Duty mentioned. Arma simply never comes up except on this site (same for Insurgency which I hear is a simpler but decent game which is far more affordable at $1). I find myself pretty well occupied by BF4 and BF1 (each of which cost me $20 with all the DLC), so I don't feel an urgent need to spend another $15-20 on Arma 3 unless I could try it and "have my socks knocked off" by it. Seems unlikely.

Also, thanks to RandomBlowHole for listing all the separate games and tiers. That's what I like to see for each HB.

It is a much different game than battlefield or CoD. It is a sandbox Military Simulator. The can be clunky and glitchy occasionally, but the amount of freedom and options in this game make it very enjoyable. Only certain kinds of gamers will enjoy this though, if you have played something like PUBG you probably will though.
