Great price:

This is not part of the Daily Deal from Amazon (Frontpage) but a great price to combine with tools that dont come with a battery. or just for a spare battery

This is a decent deal, but you'll find that you really want the 4.0 AH version of this battery.

The other advantage of two 2ah batteries vs one 4ah battery is less downtime since when one dies, you can charge it while using the other one. When the second one dies, you'll now have a bit of juice in the first one. With a single 4ah battery, you can't work while it charges.

I do this with a pair of 4ah batteries, but if that's out of your budget, then get a pair of 2ah batteries instead of just one 4ah battery.

I agree, for some reason it seems like 2AH is even less powerful than 50% of 4Ah, which works longer than two 2Ah battreries I have

If it's 40v 2ah is that roughly equivalent to 12v 6ah in terms of power gen? Wondering if I can use this to power a scooter project

I disagree. This is really 2.5 but the 4 is 4.0. So it is not really as much more powerful as it would seem. I have two of these and a 4.0. I have a lawn mower and a chainsaw. The 4 AH simply does not work that much longer. Two 2 AH would be far better than one 4 AH.

I have had it for a year and a half. They work wonderfully.

Except it is 2.5. So it would be more powerful than that. So more like 8 ah.

You'd be better off just buying a battery.

This is a terrible deal if your not planning to use a green machine.

LiOn >> Lead Acid. While Voltage and Amperage are comparable, duty cycle is completely different. Lead Acid Batteries life expectancy drops significantly if discharge below (50%) even if done rarely. That being said, OP can probably find a better general purpose LiOn than this one.

Pretty sure they deliver the same power.

The 4.0 Ah battery [amazon.com] is a decent deal as well at $94.60.

Actually purchased this today and the standalone blower. Got the deal earlier this week for the mower so I guess I'm a greenworks person now!
