Back on sale for $699 on amazon and best buy. Have been watching the price for a while.
The lowest was $649 but $699 is still good price.

Just noticed that it is also available on Projector People. Cancelled my BestBuy order and placed a new one on Projector People to save the tax.

This is a good deal. I'm surprised this is not getting more love.

I was lucky enough to grab at the black Friday $650 sale and I am very happy with the projector so far.

especially good if you're sensitive to the rainbow effect that dlp projectors can show

even aside from that, this is a very good projector. there's a review here:

Awesome projector and great price...I paid $750. I have it set up in my living room with windows right next to the screen. If you have a space that has ambient light, this projector will do the trick. I put some cheapo Kohl's sheer curtains over the windows and I don't even have to pull them all the way shut to get a great vibrant picture. See photo. Highly recommended.

Also available at Fry's today only. The promo code for the day covers sales tax on this projector. though Fry's has the 2100.

I own the 3100 which is a step above this one. If the 2150 is even close to the 3100/3700, it's a great deal.
It is light-years ahead of the BenQ 1075 and Optoma 142hx it replaced.

it may have enough lumens for dusk. I'm pretty sure you'd have to run it on high lamp mode/dynamic to pump up the brightness.
The 3100 would be better for outdoors as it is a light canon...the 3700 even more so.

I paid about 400 bucks for a refurb 2045 and it's great projector. I watch movies and play games with it.
