A great step-down from last year's G5+. This is retailing for same price and yet has SD435 SoC vs G5+'s SD630.
Moreover, good luck getting any OS upgrades. Mine was bought on Prime Day last year and it is still stuck on Nougat 7.0 [not even 7.1]
I think Moto G series will be killed off if Nokia 6.1 sticks to its promise of 2 years Guaranteed OS upgrades as it is part of Android One initiative. But time will tell ...

Is the Nokia 6.1 a universal carrier phone (work on all 4 USA carrier networks - ATT, T-mobile, Sprint,Verizon ) like the Moto G5, G6 ?

Currently have a G4, is it worth to upgrade to G6?

According to reviews, G6 has a newer processor that is equal or better performing that the one in G5+. Benchmarks are better. Comes with Android 8.0

I'd imagine Best Buy will have their standard $50 off deal with a cricket card at some point. A good deal if you are already a Cricket user.

I might get one for the wife if they do.

I was expecting a better discount than that. I can buy at bhphoto, without tax, and get the phone for about the same price without the Amazon apps.

If you really are looking for *universal* phone, and you travel a lot, you should take G5+ which is better alternative to this one. Or, wait for G6+ to hit US shores

It's not coming to the US.

The G6 works on both CDMA and GSM, what is the issue?

Very happy with my Moto G4 and new Nexus 6P..my buy of the year at $149.99 when Total Wireless had them a few weeks ago. The Nexus makes me not want to power up my iPhone again.

I almost purchased the 6P on that deal then I remembered I already have too many phones, thankfully the deal died within hours and saved me some money!Smilie
