Bought a three pack last time they were on sale. Love them so far. I'm using one for a living room lamp and a second for a pair of lamps in our master bedroom (ran a power strip off of the plug). Haven't had any issues what-so-ever. Buying some for my folks this time around.

To answer some questions...
They do not require a smart hub.
Two will not fit in one wall outlet, but using just one will leave room for something else to be plugged into the outlet.
They will power a power strip.
Requires installation of the Smart Life app (free on iOS and Android)

How is it bad? 2.4ghz has much farther range and penetrates walls far better. Sure 2.4ghz is congested, so not so good for high speed browsing or video. Just fine for smart plugs though.

I have never seen a 5ghz only router. AC routers (and prior) have both.

So why is it bad?

Do these fit above each other in an outlet?

Well, I bit. Hopefully these aren't too much of a pain to set up.

Can anyone comment on these if they own them? I'm new to the smart world, if I own an Amazon Echo, will I still need a smart hub to use these?

Seems like a good deal, and claims 10A max current...good enough for my window AC unit.
