Seems like a pretty cool game. Like Minecraft with better graphics, a more detailed world, more crafting options and more zombies.

Love this game! Been the go-to coop game with my wife for the past few months. Apparently has a long following from when it was only on PC (we play on Xbox1).

Good game despite the infinite alpha release status. It's been just short of a year since the last content update. They just published a youtube video saying alpha 17 "is done when it's done" and "maybe July". But alpha 16 was several months after their target date and had some serious bugs in it.

For $7 I'm tempted to buy a second copy for my other PC, even though no one will likely ever play it with me. My son isn't nearly old enough for the gratuitous violence and zombie nudity.

It's a really fun game and I highly suggest for anyone who wants a survival based game with building, destructable environments, etc.

It is NOT a FPS or shooter despite having those elements in the game which alot of people expect it to be.

Yeah the updates are a bit slow but they tend to be really huge. They also do slower updates because while in alpha it requires restarts, and it breaks the mods. So if they updated frequently there would be no mod community.

I ended up buying it last night, figure I'll get around to playing it some time. Missed out on ARK when it was $10 on sale in beta.

I was really surprised about this when watching some of the more detailed videos. It's just like Minecraft with better graphics.

Yeah the dev's are a bit on the blunt side, and updates are on the slower side, but it works well with mods, and its designed to be moddable by nearly anyone. A lot of it is XML based so anyone can go in and mod alot of stuff by modifying the .xml files.

The next big update is going to be dropping around July give or take.

Steam forums are a toxic mess and are being cracked down on big time, so i'd suggest using the official forums.
