Picked these up the other day at around $5. Didn't touch the stick covers, but for the cases

Pros - cheap, the shape is great and makes a huge difference in how tiring it is to use 1 joycon
Cons - the shoulder buttons are absolute trash

Idk if I would buy again. Considering my primary use is mario kart, it's honestly probably worth it to pay a little extra for real shoulder buttons imo.

looks like they patched the loophole where you could use Alexa to order Add-on items.

I've found it depends on the item. Still works but not on everything.

Yeah, the shoulder buttons is 90% of the reason to have grips. When using single Joy-Con, I always stick them in Mario Kart wheels, because they give you more comfortable (lower and bigger) shoulder buttons.

There's another deal right now on AmazonBasics Joy-Con Grip Kit, which look pretty decent, but it's only a deal on the red color.

I already have a pair of the Mario Kart wheels. For four players, it's two wheels, my second pair of Joy-Con in the standard controller mount, and my Pro controller.

I had both this one and the Amazon Basics grip. Did not realize that this doesn't have the L and R button. The default button is tiny already and this grip doesn't improve it. I'd say get the Amazon Basics grip. The red one is on sale for around $5 prime shipping. No addon.

I got the black ones over these for about $7 and I don't regret it. Need those bumpers.
