If anyone's curious, it does work on Pre-Orders. I tested on Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Dragon Quest XI.

EDIT: You can also use it more than once.

Eh, I don't think this is in the same arena as the Steam Summer sale. There, you're normally looking to get older games for super cheap. You're rarely getting the latest AAA games for substantially lower prices than you can get with things like GCU or Amazon Prime. This deal actually beats out GCU and Prime on every Pre-Order and new game that has been or will be released. I think this is more of a deal aimed at people that want brand new games for a moderate discount, not older games at a really substantial discount.

EDIT: By older, I don't mean like years. Just "old enough to see price drops naturally".

Personally, I think you're both being idiots, but multiplayer games, AAA games that sell well, and niche Japanese games are good choices for a discount like this. They either drop in player base or don't drop in price quickly.

Both of you need to piss off and stop painting with a broad brush, though. Speak for yourselves, not everyone else.

Darn wish I had waited. Just bought the Destiny 2 DLC a few days ago from Humble Bundle for $31 and would been nice to get additional 25% from this...

Debating on whether I should pre-order Vampyr for $37.49. If it turns out to be a good game, that would be an excellent deal...

Just another one of those sites that jack the price and then issue a "discount" code.

So you're comparing prices during 90% off sales on steam to full priced games on gmg? Lol ok

Do they usually not restock? I'm not very familiar with GOG.
