Kinda want. I have the original version of this that is only 150mbs N.

Never mind, this is the "travel" version. So wired WAN in and wifi out, No wired lan connection...

Yep, having only one ethernet port kills it for me.

Not sure if exactly the same but could get one for free with the current TorGuard promo with 2 years VPN access + 2 months dedicated IP for $49.99. It's a Popular Deal here on SD.

It depends on your VPN provider. Most VPN provider works with OpenVPN so look up your provider's instructions for OpenVPN

Been keeping an eye out on a deal for one of these, not 100% needed but sure is nice on a trip to the Baltic.

Mostly been running my VPN, encrypted DNS and random spoofed MAC addy from my laptop but I still worry about a data leak. One of these should clean things up a bit.

I got that deal and love the travel router. Simple setup and works. Just not a large range.

Have same issue .. bought it from Amazon.
Upgraded to latest NOR image 2.27. very slow internet performance thru this box.
a. speedtest without this box (thru my phone wifi hotspot) = 9+Mbps
b. speedtest via this box in WISP mode (thru my phone wifi hotspot) = 1+ Mbps
c. speedtest via this box in WISP mode + OpenVPN (thru my phone wifi hotspot) = >1 Mbps
d. does not work as USB tethering to a Freedompop Netgear hotspot, nor to Motorola phone (which my PC Windows 10 works fine)

Love the idea of a button switch to enable either wisp or openvpn... but unfortunately very slow.
ended up returning it.

And the gl-GL-MT300A was on sale last month for $13 on the same site. I picked one up and it's pretty nice.
