I recently bought a Sonos Play 3 for my office and am very happy with it. Sound quality is great and ease of use is amazing (I love that all I have to do is hit the pause button to start up music, even if it has been 24 hours since last using it). So I got to thinking I would love to expand and have the ability to do multi-room audio as we entertain a fair amount and I have systems in the basement, garage, main floor, and deck. Currently I use the Spotify app through my receiver, fire stick, or blu-ray player but I can only do one at a time, I would like have the ability to have some, all, or one on at a time and controlled by an app.

Though I would love to buy a couple Sonos connects and a connect amp for my outdoor speakers I can't justify spending $1,500+ for this feature. So I'm starting to explore options. It looks like Bose has something similar to Sonos for about $150 per device but then there is Google Chromecast Audio and Amazon Echo Dot connected to my receivers that would work as well.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these and have any recommendations? I have a significant amount of money into my setups in the basement and main floor so sound quality is important. I should also not that 95% of the time I would be streaming Spotify Premium.
