$199.99 - Echobox Nomad High Fidelity Titanium In-Ear Monitor (Hi-Res Audio Certified)

Echobox via Amazon [amazon.com] is offering a $50 discount on the Nomad in-ear monitor (w/ controls for Android phones), bringing the price down to $199.99 with free shipping.

I reviewed the Nomad for our blog, and was very impressed with the sound quality and spatial tuning. These are actually really good for gaming and VR because it feels like you're in the middle of the action.

And before you start: No, I'm not shilling. I personally would recommend these earphones if $200 is in your budget -- compare to Shure SE535.

Agh thanks for sharing, but I hate the IEM's that go over the ear instead of hanging straight down...

What has happened to Slickdeals? It's one thing to recommend an item in the vlog/blog but putting it in the hot deals section is questionable.

I wouldn't go as far as shill, but your reviews absolutely lack any subsistence. Im still haunted by the "review" you did of those god-awful bracelet cuff headphones.

Seriously, in a headphone review I would really love to see you actually discus the technical merits & performance and do far less quoting from the manufactures sales team like "best-in-class durability." Clearly that is BS from a headphone that has been on the market for 0 days.

Talk about the breathability, the soundstage, harmonic distortion, isolation, imaging, bass/mid/treble. Especially on a gaming headset, talk about the mic recording quality, the noise handling, controls, mute, ect.

When your reviews lack any subsistence, they just come off as paid marketing attempts.
