The better garage door openers can take LED light bulbs. Does it cost $200 to install? Would be nice if the specs mentioned range of remote or sensitivity of the main unit to pick up a signal. Also would be nice if there was an optional antenna to extend range. Upvoted because I like the wifi capability.

Costs $20 to ship to California bay area.

Chamberlain requires a paid subscription for Google Home/IFTTT on integration. Lame. I will never buy another Chamberlain.

Keep this in mind if you have smart home integration in mind.

This should work with HomeKit via Homebridge or Chamberlain's own Home Bridge device. No subscription fee required.

You are very welcome!

On our vacation home we have used the myq app to to control that garage door for years. It's free and works fine.

Is that a separate device to buy? I am confused what additional items are needed

The Chamberlain Home Bridge [chamberlain.com] is a separate device. It'll enable this opener work directly with HomeKit. Home Bridge [github.com] is a piece of software with a plugin system that exposes many devices to HomeKit that otherwise wouldn't work with it. This one [github.com] (and there are others) lets Home Bridge control a MyQ opener, and the one I use with Home Bridge. You can pretty much run Home Bridge on anything.
Neither solution requires a subscription fee.

If IFTTT/Google Home, no. You'll need to pay.

That's why I explicitly said HomeKit; there are no charges for using it with HomeKit.
