The Pro 2 is on sale for $131, also on Amazon. Why not get the better design and sound quality for $17 more?

EDIT: Pro 2 does have a mic. They don't state that on the amazon site but do on their own.

The Backbeat Pro 2 absolutely DOES have a mic. Call quality is good.

I have had these for about 2 years. Everything is great except after a year the media controls stopped working. The volume and answer/hangup phone button still work, but all the controls for playing music, pausing and changing tracks stopped working. Kind of annoying because by $20 Bluetooth headphones still work after 3 years. Also call quality isn't good. People on the other side can't hear me at all. I stopped using them for calls because call quality wasn't any good.

Good golly these are ugly, who the hell designed them, I'd rather skip noise cancelling and get something that doesn't look like a $30 rando chinese brand.

That's not the point. Yes if you need just headphones your choices are limitless. But if you need a Mic I would compare this to the voyager 8200 uc

I have had these headphones for two years or so and use them all amidst other headphones all day long at work.

The first pair I had warranteed. They were fantastic for 6-8 months but then I started having issues with the controls. I upgraded the firmware and that totally ruined the controls. It was then that I sent them in for warranty.

The second pair is doing okay, but not everything works like it did when they were new. They are on the latest firmware but I did the best to disable the ear sensor that tells them whether I'm wearing them or not.

With that sensor turned off they're working pretty well. They're slightly heavy after a few hours, but I really like all the controls and noise cancelling. The battery also lasts a very long time.

These headphones have the potential to be amazing but they're a little glitchy, slightly heavy, and slightly big. On a discount, and if you're using them like I do, they're a pretty good buy. Based on this experience, I may check out a newer version at some point. Hope this provides some insight.

I have had these for years. They are pretty awesome. The battery life is amazing. I bought and returned many headsets this one was the perfect one for me. I travel a lot and on the plane these are so good. I used it a lot. The cover on the earpiece broke recently. The noise cancelling on these are great. You could conn ct 2 devices at the same time.

You can find replacement cushions on Amazon /eBay. They clip on. Makes them like brand new Smilie

I've had these for a couple years and really like them. The sound quality and noise cancelling is great.

However, I would definitely buy the pro 2s on the front page because the ear cups on the pro 2 are oval shaped like the human ear versus these which are round. Also I believe the pro 2s are slightly lighter and these are comfortable but slightly on the heavy side.
