Do yourself an get yourself the 8BitDo's wireless version of the controller made for this console. Cords are too short for entertainment centers nowadays.

Look up retropie on ebay if you want 7,000 games including every snes game instead of this overpriced thing. Or you could just make one.
Is the retropie the answer to replace the nostalgic SNES? Heck no. Not even modded PSP. The SNES Classic is just enough for most folks. The modded SNES Classic is just a icing on a cake.

I guess people just aren't interested in this anymore? Still seemed pretty hard to find, and I was surprised to see it in stock at so many locations without a peep on this site. Oh well.

I'm guessing this is the first wave of new stock being made available. SNES and NES classic were supposed to start being made available again this summer, with production running through EOY.

There's gotta be one in every NESC/SNESC thread.

They've been hard to find online until now, but I've seen them quite a lot at Targets and walmarts just randomly walking by electronics department since about late March, early April? But yeah, not all that difficult to find compared to how the NES classic was

You can always download more snes games on there, with a simple hack. And do you really want to take out the old snes, and hundreds of cartridges, and keep swapping them? You can always just go back to the home screen, with the snes, with just a touch of a button.

you can't legally do it, though.

I do have the new classic, btw, and only played it a few mins so far, but will get around to it eventually.

I wish these were a little cheaper. Great games in a cool little package, but I have trouble talking myself into paying $80 for an emulator

You could but it only outputs in analog format, good luck showing that on your hdtv without it being so blurry you give up.
