Uh...wait. This is a refurbished item. The rebate doesn't mention anything about the item being refurbished. Does the refurbished item have the same bar code as the non-refurbished item?

This is the correct item:

UPC Barcode: 268220173379

For Reference:
Previous $3.00 Rebate Form: HERE [newegg.com]

The old form has the actual SKU: 20-173-379 [newegg.com]

You will notice the old form also did not mention "Refurbished/Open-Box", but that is what the item is.

The PDF should populate on the product page and in-cart once the site updates. As of now, no forms have shown up. Probably will be a delay since it's a new month and lots of forms need to change.

Alright, in for one then. You are the expert on these rebates; therefore, I'll join on in. Thanks for the information.

I am not sure if I can trust my data with a refurbished drive. 16gb is too small nowadays to take the risk.

Since it's a used flash drive, first thing I'd recommend everyone to do is to run data recovery software on it and see what kind of sh*t you can uncover!!!

(half kidding, but semi-serious)

This type of thinking is the exact reason I hoard my old drives. I'm going to try running DBAN on them to see if it becomes resistant to recovery software though.

Any good and free software for data recovery ? My sd card got corrupted recently and I am trying to get some data off of that.

thanks
