I'm thinking about the 10 piece tool set and miter saw.

Somebody convince me to wait it out.

How is the Milwaukee Lifetime warranty experience?

10pc isn't bad for a one and done solution. They aren't brushless, but are priced accordingly.

I'd get a larger corded miter instead though, unless you really need mobility/battery operation.

Milwaukee does not have a lifetime warranty for power tools though. You are probably thinking of Ridgid.

Milwaukee doesn't have lifetime warranty on power tools, hand tools I'm not sure about.

I wouldn't buy the 10 piece set. The flashlight and right angle drill are borderline useless to the average DIY. I have the 6.5 inch circular saw and while I've done a lot of fencing jobs with it, it seems to struggle at times even with 4amphr batteries, it's super obvious when the battery is low. The batteries in the kit are also smaller capacity. A non brushless angle grinder as well will leave you wanting more, I've had both a cordless brushed and Fuel(brushless) and even the brushless chews through batteries and gets really warm with constant use.

I have the Fuel miter as well on a cart with wheels. Hands down one of my fav tools, not longer do I have to plug in a cord. Trim work turned into a cake walk and it just makes stuff less of a pain to set up. Mine came with the 9amphr batteries though. I've honestly never worn the battery down to 50% on a single job with it yet.

I haven't been keeping track of tool prices but Home Depot currently has this 10-Tool kit for $599

That is the best price i've seen on the 7-1/4" miter saw by a solid $50, though you do have to pay tax. I've owned and used the saw for a few months and have zero regrets, it's 20 pounds lighter than the Milwaukee 10" which is itself 20 pounds lighter than the blue and yellow cordless miter saws... runs all day on a 5.0 ah battery and hangs on a wall hook in the garage when not in use.

The 3/8" ratchet is a nice compliment to the recent deal on the same kit with the 1/4" model from Toolnut.

I really wanted the Milwaukee 3/8" ratchet and this one comes with a battery and charger for the same price as the tool-only. Thanks OP.

I'm not sure why that one is, but I've been using Tekton impact socket sets and am pretty happy with them. Tekton sets also don't skip sizes.

I've had my eye on the m12 ratchet, wish it were the fuel version.

The 3/8 ratchet puts out 35 ft-lb of torque and the fuel version does 55 for anyone wondering.
